1) Obtain modnation racers and play using either an emu, jailbroken/CFW PS3 or Retail PS3
2) For emulator:
- Go to configuration->System
- Click the Network tab
- Make sure network status is connected and DNS is 8.8.8.8
- Set PSN Status to RPCN
- Input into IP/Hosts switches "modnation.ps3.playstationcloud.com=45.32.179.33" (If you have settings from other games already in this field, you can safely add this to the end without issue)
- Save and go to Configuration->RPCN
- Create an RPCN account (Only do this if you do not already have RPCN set up for another game)
For retail/jailbroken/CFW:
- Go to Settings->Network settings in the XMB
- Configure your network connection and when you get to DNS select "Manual"
- Enter the primary DNS as 45.32.179.33
- Enter the secondary DNS as 8.8.8.8
- Save and test network settings
- Ensure you are logged into PSN and launch modnation, you should boot into online
